Barnaby's is located in the Eastern Chains quarter of Port Sail, amid the slums and less-than-reputable establishments that are so common here.
Clientele
Most of Port Sail has eaten at Barnaby's at least once, but most of the surrounding streets will flock to Barnaby's for its famously efficient service and, accordingly, the ability to be in and out in under a minute so as not to linger in the interior.
Background
Barnaby "Blighter" Cormander established Barnaby's Chow House about 20 years ago as a front for a potential drug ring. When the drug ring failed and Barnaby couldn't find a buyer for the shabby, rundown property, he was forced by circumstance to run a restaurant. After a year of failure, Barnaby hired Ezikio Pazatti, a Malpalasi mage trying to recover from a Mixum's addiction. With Ezikio's talent for Unseen Servant and Barnaby's mysterious and seemingly unlimited supply of cheap meat, they were in business. Within weeks, they had transformed Barnaby's into what it remains today: an awful restaurant staffed by invisible waiters who instantly bring a large helping of indistinguishable foodstuffs for a silver piece, or a helping of yesterday's mix for a copper.
